Julia and Scott were married last Saturday in Fairfield - the hot weather left just in time to make their wedding day a real beauty! Speaking of beauty - aren't they just the most picture perfect couple? My warmest congratulations to them both - more (many) photos to come!

Happy New Year! A little late, but heartfelt, nonetheless. I'm officially out of excuses for not updating my blog more regularly! Melissa and Scott were married at the end of December in a lovely celebration. If they look familiar, it's probably because Melissa's sister, Allison, was married in November. They have the nicest family and it has been delightful getting to know them and an honor to document both of their weddings.

Here is a montage of images from their wedding day. They left for their new home in Rhode Island the next day! Melissa and Scott seemed overjoyed to be married - they are both such truly nice people and their families and friends seemed genuinely happy about their union. I wish them all the best.

MariaElena and Joel were married the weekend before Thanksgiving at the Mission in San Juan Bautista. It was a beautiful fall day and MariaElena was a beautiful bride. Everyone had a great time and I enjoyed the change of scenerey.

Will and Allison were scheduled to be married tomorrow. However, the fates had other plans and Will, who has already served 3 years of active duty in the armed forces, has been recalled to duty. It was a complete surprise. He reports for duty on Sunday.

They were married in a private ceremony last week and tomorrow, instead of a wedding, they will be having a farewell party. Sometimes life isn't fair. or fun. Here is one of the images from their engagement session over the summer.

I'm looking forward to their celebration and wish them all the best.

where did the summer go?

July and August have gone by in a blur of engagement sessions, meetings, album designs, weddings and even a few mini-vacations thrown in! The above image is from Vanessa and Patrick's wedding. I've been working on their wedding album today and fondly remembering their incredible day.

bridget & preston, part 2

Bridget and Preston are getting married this Friday (yes, the 13th - they met six years ago on Friday the 13th, so it's a lucky day for them!). Their evening wedding will be held in Grass Valley at the beautiful Empire Mine State Historic Park. I'm looking forward to it!
